little Libraries

Peachtree City Little Libraries is a 503 (c) non-profit organization that originally came about as part of a Girl Scout gold award project. Due to the pandemic, the gold award was unable to be completed in time. That set back did not dampen the determination of this High School senior who along with her family decided to make a long term difference and build not just one but a number of little libraries of their own but also develop a shared network of little libraries within the Peachtree City community. Today, Peachtree City Little Libraries operates and maintains nearly a dozen little libraries and shares books with nearly 50 little libraries in Fayette and Coweta counties.

Faqs

None, Peachtree City Little Libraries in no way is affiliated with either the city of Peachtree City or Peachtree City Library. We do have permission to place our little libraries on “approved” city property through an agreement with the parks department but all maintenance and repairs is our responsibility and the city may request us to move or remove any of our libraries with extremely short notice.

Yes, Peachtree City Little Libraries will be more than happy to accept your donation. We will work with you to determine the most acceptable solution which could involve keeping the library where it currently is and taking over ownership and maintenance or relocating the library to a new home.

Simply put, there is never a charge for a book in a little library. All books we receive are donated to us and we return that by placing them inside little libraries where anyone can obtain a book without cost

You can donate a portion of the sale price of your item directly to Peachtree City Little Libraries and as an added bonus, eBay will deduct the percentage of your donation from their fee (ie if you choose to donate 25% of the sale price then eBay will deduct 25% of their fee from your listing).
